Abby Richards: Once upon a time, there was a glorious day in the state of Tennessee, where dreams were born and elderly women wept openly in wonder. The day of my birth was not that day. Some other, regular day, a child was born in a hospital. The next few years consisted of being fed, bathed, and undergoing natural human processes. Then, when she was about seven or eight, and began to draw. And draw. And draw. She has been drawing ever since, in a constant state of practice and improvement. Alas, art classes were not readily available to her until she began to attend a local community college, so most of her knowledge is founded from hard work, critique, and tutorials. She wishes to major in illustration or sequential art.
